Usage
Viewing Diffs
Open any draft entry and click the View Diff link in the sidebar to see field-by-field changes with syntax highlighting.
Creating Releases
Navigate to Peek → Releases to create a new release. Add drafts from the picker under the release’s entries, or from the Peek panel in any draft’s sidebar, then publish them all at once.
Who can do what
Peek provides seven permissions: Access Peek, View diffs, Manage releases, Publish releases, Schedule releases, Delete releases, and Manage Peek settings. They decide which Peek screens someone can use — Craft’s own entry permissions still decide which drafts:
- A diff is the draft’s whole content, so it needs the right to view that draft and its entry.
- A draft can be added to a release by anyone who could publish it in Craft’s editor.
- Publishing applies a draft only if the person publishing could apply it themselves. If any one can’t be, nothing is published.
- Scheduling needs the Schedule releases permission. A scheduled release publishes with the scheduler’s permissions as they are when it runs, so someone who loses access can’t publish through an old schedule.
